| Sweepy
Sweepy has been a part of the break
dance scene for many years as a member of the Rock Steady
Crew. Yet, it was not until 1998 when he took his robotic
movements to the next level playing the role of the Intergalactic
Robot in the Beastie Boys music video that we all came to
know and love him.
Inside of the robot suit, Sweepy
was asked to face off against the Dread-lock-topus who was
played by Joey Garfield. The two of them fought the grudge
match of the century, with Sweepy coming out the victor.
The fight can't really be appreciated unitl it is watched
in all of its glory on the Beastie Boys Video Anthology
DVD. By selecting the " The Robot vs. the Octpus
Monster Saga" from the additonal material menu, a fan
can see the blow by blow killing procedure.
