That quote (borrowed from the Beryl Markham book "West with the Night") best explains what we have set out to accomplish with the Beastiemania.com timeline. By using a variety of different sources, including magazine and newspaper clippings, television appearances, as well as first person accounts; the timeline which appears before you starts with Michael Diamond's first endeavor into music and proceeds to flow through over twenty-five years of Beastie Boys albums and accomplishments.
