The lights went down and out came Luscious Jackson to a full Galaxy crowd. The cheers continued as they opened the set with Pele Merengue and Energy Sucker. Not taking anytime to slow down, Luscious then launched into a feisty Naked Eye which moved slightly faster than the album version and much more than the cd single. Daughters of the Kaos got the crowd rocking as everyone screamed. The screaming continued into the next song which Jill mentioned "If you have seen us before you know to yell when I say go and stop when I say stop" Then came Bam-Bam...everyone yelled on cue and you knew the girls really had control of the crowd. Electric and Mood Swing demonstrated the talent the girls have shown as they have grown from album to album. Jill’s bass lines kept the beat moving along with Kate’s bombastic beating of the set. Angel and DeepShag had the crowd moving and dancing with joy. Jill apologized for not being so talkative as they drove 10 hours to get to the show. No one cared because the next song was Here and everyone danced.
The set ended with Surprise, a surprise to me as I didn’t expect that in the set. Shortly after that the girls returned to play a song dedicated to the city that brought us Budweiser...CitySong had Jill dancing and shaking her tambourine vigorously. Next came a few requests. My shouts of Find Your Mind were ignored and the band played Satellite and Keep on Rockin It to end a fantastic butt shakin show.

A great show I hope they come to your town soon and St. Louis again on this tour as on previous tours they only made it here once.
