Gabby: Our very first show was opening for the Beasties at an NYC place called the Building with Cypress Hill. a pretty surreal experience. It was something of a comeback show for the Boys, and the street was blocked off by police barricades. Tons of people showed up for it and were milling around outside. We didn’t have a record yet, so we just did 3 songs with our friends Miles Kelly on guitar and Sarah Cox on bass. Jill and I did vocals while a DAT of all the samples played under.
