The mention of "Alan Alda and his sincere Quiche Eaters" is a reference to a book by Bruce Feirstein called "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche." Within the book there is a mention that ..."We have become a nation of wimps. Pansies. Quiche eaters. Alan Alda types - who cook and clean and can related to their wives." The Young and the Useless would later name their first EP "Real Men Don't Floss".
